Sanofi to conduct a survey of parents who have teenagers and young adults with type 1 diabetes
When I was at school, there was only 1 computer !! I had a black and white portable TV and that was considered a luxury.
Whilst I think that some technology has had a detrimental effect on communication. I can't get enough of it when it comes to supporting Type 1 Diabetes. If it looks chic and trendy even better.
Sanofi have bought into that market !!! Yes, Combining technology with smart and that all important "street cred" look.
Do you have a son or daughter aged between 13 and 23 who has type 1 diabetes? Are you ever concerned about their health and diabetes management now that they are becoming more independent?
Sanofi is conducting a survey of parents of teenagers and young adults (aged between 13 and 23) who have type 1 diabetes to highlight any worries they may have for their children’s health and diabetes management. The survey will be used to support the launch of a new, blood glucose monitor (BGM).

The new BGM, called the iBGStar®, is a convenient and easy-to-use monitor which can stay attached to the iPhone or iPod touch so users can carry around one less device. Using the technology built into the iPhone or iPod touch, this information can be shared with the user’s family or healthcare professional while on-the-go which can provide reassurance to parents of teenagers and young adults with Type 1 diabetes.
Please help them by filling in the online survey.
