Sometimes in life, through a sad situation you meet some truly inspirational people. About 15 months ago a meet a lady called Helen Kerins. Helen has a daughter Aimee, who also has Type 1 Diabetes. Whenever I have needed any support organising events and awareness through Diabetes Power. Helen has always been there. In reality Helen is far more organised then me! Claudia & Aimee love to have a good gossip.
Helen's son Aaron plays football and Helen is really involved in providing support for the football teams.
Diabetes Power is exceptionally proud to say that the following football teams will be wearing sweatshirts with www.diabetespower.org.uk
Raiders, Vikings, Arrows, Aces, Dynamos, Lasers & Tigers all part of Adlington JFC.

Wishing all the football teams a fantastic football season!!
A huge special thank you to Helen, without whom the events Diabetes Power has hosted would not have been as successfull.
I truly believe that working together we will raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes, as it comes from our hearts as we live this life each and ever day until a cure is found. Until that day please support Diabetes Power in anyway you can.
